RURA (Scozia)

La band RURA, che mette insieme la passione e le influenze di alcuni tra i più eccitanti giovani musicisti di Scozia, interpreta la tradizione celtica con rinnovato vigore. La sua musica energetica sembra fatta apposta per scuotere la scena folk. Highland pipes, whistles, violino, chitarra, bodhran e flauto, accompagnati da una schiera di effetti speciali a pedale per creare un suono scatenato e multiforme. Con Steven Blake (bagpipes, whistle), Chris Waite (chitarra), David Foley (bodhran, flauto), Jack Smedley (violino). The band RURA brings together the passion and influence of some of the most exciting young musicians in Scotland, and interprets the Celtic tradition with a renewed vitality. Their energetic music seems to have been made especially to shake up the folk scene. Highland pipes, whistles, bodhran and flute accompanied by an array of special effects (pedal system) which creates a rumbustious and multiform sound.
