Questo concerto inedito vede la riunione di tre giovani arpisti eccezionali, che durante il lockdown della scorsa primavera si sono incontrati virtualmente e hanno suonato insieme in rete; questa particolare esperienza ha dato loro voglia di incontri musicali più autentici e approfonditi. Eccoli quindi ospiti di LocarnoFOLK per una prima mondiale!

La Ticinese Elisa Netzer è un’arpista alla costante conquista dei palcoscenici classici, che vanta una carriera sia solistica sia orchestrale. Appassionata di musica irlandese e scozzese da una ventina d’anni, ha studiato arpa celtica presso i maggiori maestri di questo strumento.

Ailie Robertson è una compositrice e interprete pluripremiata di Edimburgo, il cui lavoro supera ampiamente i confini della musica tradizionale. Ha sviluppato sull’arpa celtica uno stile individuale che rappresenta una sintesi, prima impensabile, delle tecniche arpistiche irlandesi, scozzesi e contemporanee.

Immerso nell'ambiente musicale popolare fin dalla nascita, Adriano Sangineto, figlio del liutaio lombardo Michele Sangineto, inizia presto lo studio degli strumenti costruiti dal padre, specializzandosi nell’arpa celtica. Oggi è il più innovativo arpista italiano del suo tempo.

Bei diesem neuen Projekt treffen sich drei außergewöhnliche junge Harfenisten, die sich während des Lockdowns im vergangenen Frühling virtuell getroffen und im Netz zusammengespielt haben; diese besondere Erfahrung gab ihnen den Wunsch nach authentischeren und vertieften musikalischen Begegnungen. Hier sind sie also Gäste von LocarnoFOLK für eine Weltpremiere!

Die Tessinerin Harfenistin Elisa Netzer erobert nach und nach die Bühnen der klassischen Musik und kann sowohl eine Solisten- als auch eine Orchesterkarriere vorweisen. Vor etwa zwanzig Jahren verliebte sie sich in die irische und schottische Musik und studierte keltische Harfe bei den größten Meistern dieses Instruments.

Ailie Robertson ist eine preisgekrönte Komponistin und Interpretin aus Edinburgh, deren Werk weit über die Grenzen der traditionellen Musik hinausgeht. Sie hat auf der keltischen Harfe einen individuellen Stil entwickelt, der eine bisher undenkbare Synthese aus irischen, schottischen und zeitgenössischen Harfentechniken darstellt.

Als Sohn des lombardischen Saiteninstrumentenbauers Michele Sangineto wuchs Adriano Sangineto in einem volksmusikalischen Umfeld auf und begann früh mit dem Studium der vom Vater gebauten Instrumente, wobei er sich auf die keltische Harfe spezialisierte. Heute ist er der innovativste italienische Harfenist seiner Generation.

This new project sees the reunion of three exceptional young harpists, who virtually met and played together on the net during last spring's lockdown; this particular experience gave them the desire for more authentic and in-depth musical encounters. So here they are guests of LocarnoFOLK for a world premiere!

Elisa Netzer, from Ticino, is a harpist who is constantly conquering the stages of classical music and boasts a career in both solo and orchestral music. Passionate about Irish and Scottish music for about twenty years, she studied Celtic harp with the greatest masters of this instrument.

Ailie Robertson is an award-winning composer and performer from Edinburgh, whose work goes far beyond the boundaries of traditional music. She has developed an individual style on the Celtic harp that represents a previously unthinkable synthesis of Irish, Scottish and contemporary harp techniques.

Immersed in the popular musical environment since birth, Adriano Sangineto, son of the Lombard luthier Michele Sangineto, soon began studying the instruments built by his father, specialising in the Celtic harp. Today he is the most innovative Italian harpist of his generation.
